Kia Ora, I’m Nat
…And I am not just an Interior Designer!
I have a long and winding history of working in various roles across the Creative Industry spanning the last 15 years- to currently include Wedding & Event Styling.
I started out in the Theatre, which evolved into to Art and Photography, then Graphics and Copywriting, before my passion for interiors finally landed me in the world of Interior Design; my greatest love since I was a young girl, rearranging my friends bedrooms whenever I’d come to visit.
Having such a broad understanding of all of these industries allows me to create for you like no other. It gives me the unique ability to view your project from a totally different perspective to those only used to working within one discipline.
Over the years I have won awards and received recognition; for my graphic design video content, travel blog copy & photography, and been featured in magazine and online articles for Interior Design and Wedding Styling.
These days, alongside weddings, I specialise in the practical Interior Design of smaller spaces; working to create apartments, units, townhouses and tiny homes that look beautiful but also utilise furniture and styling with flexibility and purpose.
For me, across all disciplines the best designs solve problems, invite conversation, are functional and above all else, make you feel good.
Personally, I live for the colour green and would style every possible surface with plants given half the chance. I run largely on coconut flat whites and Whittaker’s chocolate and have been known to crank out the odd happy dance here and there!
